Jeff currently serves as the Social Worker for the Keansburg Preschool Program. He has worked for the district as a child and family counselor since 1999. In 1999 Jeff created a parent support group in collaboration with the Keansburg School District and Parents Anonymous of NJ. This group utilizes a ‘Shared Leadership Model’ for co-led (parent and professional) parent groups.
Realizing that fathers are often left out of the helping network, Jeff and several dads had a vision for a support group with a focus on fatherhood. Kathy Roe and her colleagues at Parent’s Anonymous alerted Jeff to a NJ Children’s Trust Fund Grant, and in 2005, Keansburg ‘Father Time’ was born. Father Time in collaboration with the Keansburg School District consists of a weekly dad support group, and also serves as a community organization, which executes many family enrichment programs each year.
Raised in South Jersey, Jeff majored in Psychology andSpecial Education at Rutgers. Jeff is a licensed clinical social worker, child and family therapist who has worked in psychiatric inpatient settings, private practice, clinical supervisory roles, and intensive in-community programs.
