    This month the Bayshore Family Success Center will focus on Nurturing.It's important to bond with your children. Nurturing increases children's ability to preform academically, develop stronger peer and social relationships, explore their environment more, have more self confidence, have strong communication skills, and possess more persistence in life.
    Stand Up To Bullying
    October is Bullying Prevention month. Help us share the message that "The Bayshore is a bully-free community". Get the family together and make a poster that shows your commitment to anti bullying. A winner will be announced on October 15 via our Remind app (text @bayshorefa to 81010).

    The Keansburg School District must provide a free appropriate education (FA-PE) to eligible children living in the Keansburg School District, 3 through 21 years- of age. Individuals and/or families who know of a child within this age range with a suspected or known disability should call the appropriate school listed below: Included in the districts "child find" are public and nonpublic children from three to five years (pre-school) of age, wards of the state and children who are highly mobile, such as migrant and homeless students,

  • Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s), 

    The Monmouth County Vocational School District (MCVSD) is taking applications for the five Career Academies. If your child is interested in applying to ONE of the schools, then he/she MUST attend one of the MANDATORY INFORMATION SESSIONS along with a parent or guardian and stay for the duration. You must register online to attend an Information Session. Applications will only be available at these mandatory sessions. Students can attend information sessions at all of the schools, but they are only allowed to apply to ONE school. No alternate choices are allowed.

    The dates and times for the sessions are attached below and posted throughout the school. 

    IMPORTANT INFO: ALL Applications MUST complete the on-line only applications by Friday, December 3, 2021NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE!!!!

    We will be having Pre-K Orientation on September 7th from 1:00 - 2:00 for all Pre-K students. You will be able to meet the teachers and see your classroom prior to the first day of school.   • If you are inside any district building for any reason beginning tomorrow, August 9th, you must follow the Governor's new face mask mandate, which is outlined below in an excerpt from the district attorney:
    "Executive Order 251 Mandatory Face Masks in New Jersey Schools
    In accordance with Executive Order 251, effective August 9, 2021, Governor Murphy has ordered that all K-12 schools in New Jersey maintain a policy regarding mandatory use of face masks by staff, students, and visitors in the indoor portion of the school district premises.
    Exceptions to the mandate are consistent with mask protocols in force last school year: 
     a. When doing so would inhibit the individual’s health, such as when the individual is exposed to extreme heat indoors; 
     b. When the individual has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a face masks without assistance; 
     c. When a student’s documented medical condition or disability, as reflected in an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or Educational Plan pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, precludes use of a face mask;
     d. When the individual is under two (2) years of age; 
     e. When the individual is engaged in activity that cannot physically be performed while wearing a mask, such as eating or drinking, or playing a musical instrument that would be obstructed by a face mask; 
     f. When the individual is engaged in high-intensity aerobic or anaerobic activity; 
     g. When a student is participating in high-intensity physical activities during a physical education class in a well-ventilated location and able to maintain a physical distance of six feet from all other individuals; or 
     h. When wearing a face mask creates an unsafe condition in which to operate equipment or execute a task.
    At this time the mandate is specific to indoor settings, only. 
    As set forth in the Executive Order the change in the Governor’s  position is the result of a rise in  COVID -19 cases associated with the Delta variant. The mask protocols will be enforced regardless of a person's vaccine status. As was true of the earlier protocols,  specific guidance for implementation of the mask mandate is not provided."
