Uploading Photos using iCloud

  1. On the iPad with your photos on it go to settings and select "iCloud"
  2. Sign in using your iCloud email and password. NOTE: iCloud accounts use an Apple ID so any existing iTunes or App Store account will work as well.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and make sure that photo stream is on.
  4. On your mac go to "System Preferences" and select the iCloud icon.
  5. Sign in with the same account (it MUST be the SAME account!) and make sure "Photo Stream" is checked.
  6. Open iPhoto and select "Photo Stream" on the left under "WEB". It may take a few minutes for your photos to start downloading but your should see your photos from the iPad start appearing.
  7. From here you can import these photos into iPhoto. Simply select the ones you want to import and right-click and select "Import".
