Internship opportunities are available with the Monmouth County Democrats. This opportunity is unique because interns will be working at the county political party, the hub of all politics throughout Monmouth County and the gatekeeper for those outside of the county.
Interns will not be stuck simply making yard signs or phone calls. Their efforts will have a significant impact on the success of the party, and subsequently each particular campaign it focuses on. Being at the hub, interns will be dealing with different individuals from different walks of life every day, thus building a much more expansive network than any regular state legislative or congressional campaign.
This is a great opportunity for students interested in pre-law programs or majors in communications, political science, public relations, graphic design, history, or related fields
Positions are part-time and unpaid, with flexible hours depending on each intern's schedule. Please send all resumes and applications to Executive Director Gordon Estes at info@monmouthdems.org.

The American Association for University Women recently reported that 53% of women have high student loan debt just one year after graduation, compared to 39% of men. Many women also face the added difficulties of trying to go to college for the first time later in life, returning to school after long gaps of time, and attaining a degree while being a single parent.
To help make college more accessible for them, our college planning experts at OEDB.org developed two holistic financial aid guides specifically for women. It breaks down available grants, scholarships, and fellowships, along with useful tips and tricks.

For many athletes who dream of playing Division I athletics, their high school careers can be a numbers game. Are they scoring enough points? Running fast enough times? Completing enough passes? You may even have given them another number to think about: 2.3, the minimum high school GPA needed for a Division I freshman to compete if they enroll full time on or after August 1, 2016. But did you know all your high school athletes who aspire to play Division I also need to remember the numbers 16, 10 and 7? Starting August 1, 2016, high school graduates (cuTI"ent senior class) must meet the following core-course requirements to compete in their first year at a Division I school:
- 16 Students must complete 16 core courses.
- 10 Students must complete 10 of their core courses before the start of their seventh high school seinester. For most students, that is the start of their senior year.

Fostering the next generation of leaders is hard work, but it’s a commitment that will always be rewarded. Preparing students in New Jersey for the college education that is right for them can be an exhausting process, but an educated population can have a big, positive impact on the local economy: Within three years of graduation, 1 out of 4 MBA graduates will start their own business.
Unfortunately, local options may not be viable for students, and it’s why we at Bestcolleges.com created guides to detail distance learning options and processes for every level of student:
A Guide to Online Associate Degrees - https://www.bestcolleges.com/features/online-associate- degree/
A Guide to Online Bachelor's Degrees - https://www.bestcolleges.com/features/online-bachelors- degree/
A Guide to Online Master's Degrees - https://www.bestcolleges.com/features/online-masters- degree/
A Guide to Online Doctorate Degrees - https://www.bestcolleges.com/features/online-doctorate- degree/
These guides become more important in light of the following BestColleges.com survey results:
- The age of online students is decreasing: 44% of all online students fall into the "traditional" college age range
- A majority of these young online college students are concurrently enrolled in high school or enroll directly out of high school
- Recent high school graduates are joining the workforce while also pursuing a college education online
- 73% of online students report career goals as a reason for pursuing an online degree
