Homework:READ 30 MINUTES PER NIGHT! READ 30 MINUTES PER NIGHT!!!! I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH!!Read independent reading book for at least 30 minutes per night. This homework is mandatory and will be graded. I take "Status Of The Class" each day. If students are keeping up with the reading requirements in school and at home, they will complete a book about every week. You can also keep tabs on your child’s reading habits by talking with him/her about books, and by asking to see the reading record. At any time throughout the school year, I would love for you to “check” a book out of my library so that you and your child can have great conversations about books.
