    Welcome to fifth grade Language Arts! We are so happy to have your child in our class. We are looking forward to working with you and your child in reaching his or her full potential. Fifth grade will be a year of growth and academic discovery. We will have many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn and grow in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Every day your child will have the opportunity to learn through a variety of activities. Your child will be engaged in a rigorous and engaging curriculum that will enable them to become stronger readers, writers, and life long learners in the 21st Century.
