My name is Ashley Szotak and I teach 3rd grade at Joseph C. Caruso School.  I graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor's degree in psychology and elementary education.  I did my student teaching in Keansburg and have been teaching in the district since 2004.  Currently, I am attending Georgian Court University to achieve my masters degree in administration and leadership.  Teachers are always learning!

 

Family

I am a life long resident of Middletown and live with my husband, two wonderful children, and two dogs.  My son Morgan is 10 years old and my daughter Isabella is 7 years old.  We love our chocolate lab named Suzie, and our Boxer named Fran.  My family loves to go camping and finding new adventures andbeautiful places.  We travel with our camper and love visiting different states.  So far, we knocked off 14 states in the past 6 years of camping.  Can't wait to say that I have camped in all 50!
