Where's My H: Drive? (Mac)

Your H: Drive should connect automatically when you login to your mac (*NOTE: Your H: Drive only works when connected to the Schools wifi). It will appear as a blue drive on your desktop labeled "Ksdhome$". If you do not see it follow the instructions below:
 
  1. Switch to the finder app (click the finder icon in the dock, or press command-tab to switch between open apps).
  2. Select "Finder" from the menu bar (white bar at the top of your screen).
  3. Click "Preferences..."
  4. Make sure the "General" tab is selected and make sure the checkbox labeled "Connected Servers" is checked.
If "Connected Servers" was already checked or you checked it and you still cannot see your H: drive you can log out and log back in, or follow these instructions that do not require you to log out:
  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Select Users & Groups
  3. Select your account from the list on the left
  4. Select the login items tab
  5. You should see a list of items, one will start with "smb://kksdh02/ksdhome$", double click this item and your H: drive should reconnect, if it does not, please contact the technology staff.
